It’s okay to feel fear.
Fear doesn’t mean you’re failing. It’s what you do with the fear that matters. If you use the fear as a reason to jump into an olympic size pool of self pity and do endless laps in there. That’s failing. If you use fear to hide from life and avoid inevitable change. That’s failing. If you use fear to justify procrastination and not even bother to try, That’s failing.
