No, you'e right...there is no such word. It's what I call a Saskiaism, and I have many of those.
You see, I have so much creativity and imagination that it seeps into my vocabulary. I feel something and there's no word for it so I have no choice but to make one up.
Today I am feeling anxy.
What does that mean exactly? It means I'm feeling anxious and happy at the same time. I feel grateful and blessed and content...and jittery and nervous and anxious too.
Allow me to demonstrate this Saskiaism adjective...
"Saskia felt very anxy when she woke upon this morning, but she had no idea why."
Synonyms: worried, giggly, apprehensive, silly, nervous, joyous, fretful, giddy, edgy, grateful, tense, blessed.
Anxy is a tricky feeling, I'm never quite sure what to do with it. It's almost like I am nervous excited but have got nothing to be nervous and excited about.
Maybe something spectacular is about to happen and I just don't know what it is yet!
I'll keep you guys posted.
