I’ve never dared to dream big.

Updated: Jul 11

My whole life I was too afraid to have wild aspirations and crazy big desires.

I was told if you dare to dream big you will only be disappointed.

And so I never dared.

And now I am 44 years old and I’ve realised what I was told simply isn’t true.

Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Don’t let anyone make you small.

Don’t let anyone anyone talk you out of having the biggest dreams in the world.

I hereby give the world permission to dream big.

Dream huge.

Dream gigantic.

And when you have that dream, make sure you visualise it daily in your imagination.

For 3 or 4 minutes every day, set a timer and lose yourself in your imagination.

Imagine that big fat juicy dream is already your reality, that your wish has already come true.

And visualise exactly what it’s like.

Visualise everything.

How it feels, how it looks, what you’re wearing, who’s there with you, the colour of the wallpaper, the smell in the air.

Picture every minute detail.

Make it real.

If you believe it to be so, then so will the universe.

I’ve never tried it.

But I’m trying it now.

Because it’s never too late to dream big.

I picture myself as a successful Hay House author.

Every morning.

I set the timer for 4 minutes and imagine myself already there.

Signing the contract, telling my family the incredible news and almost spontaneously combusting from the joy of it.

Dream big.

I dare you.
