This helps me so much when I try and meditate.
Because usually my thoughts flicker wildly like a roaring out of control fire.
So I remember to TRY and slow my mind till it becomes as still as a candle’s flame, powerful and bright.
Meditation does wonders for fear, anxiety, frustration, confusion etc.
In fact meditation does wonders for any negativity you have in your life.
Fears around cancer, feeling lost and afraid, thoughts of being alone.
Meditation reconnects you to the source of all things…
And when you connect to the universe you find an inner strength you never knew you had.
Yes, meditation is tricky.
But also remember that even Buddha, Krishna and Yoda found meditation difficult when they began.
Its process rather than perfection.
But you won’t experience the results if you don’t try at all.
So sit and try and still your thoughts just for ten minutes.
As your thoughts begin to dance around your head like a roaring fire.
Imagine in your minds eye a candle with a slowly flickering flame.
And every time your mind wanders just TRY and come back to that gentle flame.
You may not receive any magical messages.
You may not feel especially different after those ten minutes.
But please trust me when I say that those ten minutes will make a profound difference to the rest of your day.
And if you integrate meditation daily then you will make a profound difference to the rest of your life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Learning to quieten your mind lets the universe take care of the negativity within.
So just try it.
Still your mind for a while.
Because it deserves a break.
