Walking the spiritual path.

Being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2012 forced me to face my own mortality; it forced me to reevaluate my life and how I had been living it. I never had a relationship or connection to me, I was too busy 'doing' and spending no time 'being'. And so I decided to start exploring a spiritual path and everything changed.


I know what real happiness is.

And it isn't what we've been made to believe our whole lives - it's something entirely different.

Society, family, education, and a lifetime of conditioning has convinced us that happiness is to be found outside of ourselves.

So we keep chasing the things we believe we'll make us happy, but when we get them we are only happy for a while. You reach a little bit of happiness only for it to slip through your fingers, and then the chase starts all over again.


Exploring the spiritual path for over the past 10 years allowed me to discovered another kind of happiness - a happiness that can't be found outside of ourselves because it's deeply rooted within the self.  It's a far more realistic kind of happiness, because it really is attainable, it holds space for the pain and struggle of life, and it lasts the long term. 

I'm so thankful that I've found it, and now I help other people find their way there too.


Real happiness is...

  • Self acceptance whether you're getting it wrong, or getting it right.

  • Feeling all the feels - good or bad - so they past through you instead of getting stuck inside you.

  • Dissolving the inner critic.

  • The willingness to look back in the past, in order to heal the present, so you can go forward to a brighter future.

  • Learning to do less and be more.

  • Discovering and connecting to your true self, and loving your true self exactly the way you are.
