I pulled this tarot card today, which is very apt as I’m not feeling particularly ‘fine’ at the moment.
And that’s the point.
Sometimes it’s okay to not feel fine, but to know in the core of you that everything IS going to be okay.
We’re not supposed to be happy each and every day of our lives.
We’re supposed to have the full human experience in our short and precious lifetime.
We’re supposed to feel everything, all of it, every emotion there is.
What if we could unlearn our beliefs of good and bad emotions?
Happiness, bliss, peace, forgiveness, compassion…these are ‘good’ emotions.
Anger, frustration, impatience, fear…these are all ‘bad’ emotions.
But what if you decided today, as you’re reading this, that all of the above are simply emotions that are all there to be lived and felt deeply?
None of them are bad, or good, or better, or worse.
There’s no emotions to run away from, push down or deny.
There are no emotions to constantly chase after or you 'need' in order to live the best life.
What if you just gave yourself permission to feel all of them?
Not get lost in them.
But spend time with them.
Not become them.
But observe yourself feeling them fully.
An emotion comes today, eventually it leaves, and another emotion comes to visit.
Today the emotions that came to visit me are uncomfortable.
I’m not enjoying feeling them.
But I still allow them to be there.
Because I know they have come to visit me for a reason.
Perhaps to indicate I need to be kinder to myself.
Maybe to indicate something I need to learn or change about myself.
Or maybe for no other reason than the fact it’s pouring with rain outside my window.

How are you REALLY feeling deep down inside of you today?
Whatever the feeling is you're currently feeling, please can you show it a great kindness by letting it be there.
Let yourself be there.
Let yourself be where you are, with the feeling you are feeling.
And know deep in your core, that no matter how you’re feeling… ‘good’ or ‘bad’... everything is going to be fine.
